In and out

It seems like we have been all over the place lately and are hardly ever home. We've been either leaving on the weekends or having someone here on the weekends pretty much for the last month and a half solid.

This past weekend we had the meals on wheels Golf Ball Drop fundraiser. Christina has been working crazy hard helping organizing this. So I volunteered to help on Saturday (or was I told that I was "volunteering" an had no other choice...) and drove the drink cart around with christina.

At the end they drop 7500 golf balls out of a helicopter, which people bought, and if you get yours closest to the hole, you win. Alas no one we knew won.

Then for the rest of the weekend we went down to Nashville Indiana (yeah who knew that existed...) with Christina's family. The town was a weird artist type town out in the woods. not my style of art but it was alright. Did a little wine tasting, played some video games, went to Six Flags Kentucky Kingdom (more on that in a minute), and relaxed some. Wish the relaxing could have lasted longer, but can't complain taking 2 days off of work.

So if you love roller coasters i would say avoid kentucky kingdom. However the water park was pretty good. Since we have apparently been spoiled by cedar point the coaster were a let down. For those in "the know" they had a mantis style one, a raptor one, and then one kind of like the mean streak. Although they had no lines, i mean like walk up and be the next set of people to ride, somehow it still took 10 minutes to get on a ride. They would only have one coaster on a track (stupid) and would go so slow locking people in (stupid) and would yell at you if you tried to lock your self in and speed things up (stupid). So yeah it could take 10 minutes to ride when you were the next person in ride. Definitely not up to the efficiency of CP. We should have taken this as some kind of a sign because these were some of the roughest coaster i have ever been on, and christina still has neck problems.

But, the water park was good minus the 2 giant blisters i had. They had one that was more like a roller coaster but in a tube, like you went down a slide like normal but then you would shoot up a hill and down another one and up and down, it was fun. Another whirlpool one that had 2 or 4 person tube sand would drop you off into a big cone as you flew up and down the sides. A lazy river as always which was often not lazy because of stupid children. Lastly the standard tubes in which Donna somehow managed to pop out of before her tube, She somehow flipped over inside the tube (it was an inclosed dark style one) and lost her tube in there. All in aqll not too shabby for the water Park.

Dropping balls like it was going out of style

covered bridge #1. I then proceeding to feel very car sick from the crazy twisty up and down roads around there.
