Well it took us a little while to get some new furniture. The first part that took a good amount of time was Christina and I agreeing on something we both liked, that was comfy, and didn't cost a fortune (I still don't know how I got her to go with a really modern style).
The second part that took awhile was actually getting it. We decided on this set called the Corona from Macys. The saleswoman was really nice and told us she would wait to put our order in for a couple weeks since it was going to be an additional 10% off the sale price, since that comes out to be a good amount of money, and cover the shipping, we waited. Then we were told it was backordered, it's a pretty popular set, and wouldn't get here until the end of May. We said we'd wait, and then somehow it came in a lot faster and we got it in a couple of weeks.
So here's pictures of our almost finished living room. We don't know what to put above the couch since we don't want it to compete with the Paris pictures above the fireplace. The shot that is down the length of the couch, on that wall will eventually be a dutch graphic design poster I have, but it costs a lot to frame it. The final piece will be the kickass flatscreen TV and a nice entertainment center... but that's all down the line. For now we need to work on the bedroom since it's lacking in the looks department.

New couch! I can actually lay down on it, all the way!
Some super fancy dog treats I bought Rocky from a doggy bakery when I was down in Indy doing portfolio reviews. They smelled so good, I wanted to eat one so bad, the woman said they were kind of bland though.

Looks like I'll have to upgrade my wardrobe when I come for a visit.
