Ok, so this post is way late, but that's how I roll.
Christina came down to my office on her birthday so I could take her out for lunch. We went to the Black Sparrow, it has the most amazing burger. Afterwards we did some present opening action. I got Christina some various things like a new purse, some victoria's secret shorts, market basket, and part of her bike. That night i made up a cake (a mini one and then tons of little cupcakes) and I had it all ready when Christina got home from work. I don't have a lot of practice decorating cakes, but I think I did a pretty good job for my first time really trying. Christina thought I bought it at first.
The bike was mostly from my prents and partially from me. Riding in style.
A collapsible market basket that we can use for picnics, trips to the farmers market, or the grocery store to cut down on plastic bag use. Christina exchanged it for a brown and tan one with a baroque pattern on it though, the blue was kind of blah.
Christina's mini cake. It was about 4" across and triple layered. Also tons of mini cupcakes with it, with little designs of "2" and "4" all over them.
